This stuff is LUSH and delicious, with a perfect balance of purple darkness and red freshness, dense and deep, with truly unfolding layers of fruits, crazy-yummy spices, savory lip-smacking-ness and a finish that goes on for minutes after you swallow it. Taylor Fladgate (since 1692!) is recognized as one of the top port producers in the world, garnering huge critical acclaim and multiple 100-point scores. Their Quinta de Terra Feita is located on the west bank of the River Pinhao, the narrow tributary which winds north to south through a sinuous steep-sided valley before flowing into the Douro. In certain years when a Taylor Fladgate Vintage is not declared, the best port wines of Terra Feita are bottled as a single Quinta vintage port.
