Hourglass Blueline Estate Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 2016 - First Bottle

Reviews

95-97 Jeb Dunnuck -
More broad, expansive, and layered, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Blueline Estate offers sensational notes of flowers, violets, blueberries, and tobacco leaf. Medium to full-bodied, beautifully pure, elegant, and seamless on the palate, it fills the mouth with fruit, has fine tannin, and a great, great finish.
95 Vinous -
The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Blueline is dense, pliant and absolutely gorgeous. Plush fruit and silky tannins push the dark fruit, chocolate, licorice and spice flavors forward. This is an especially creamy, supple wine for the vintage. Best of all, the 2016 will drink well with minimal cellaring because of its impeccable balance.
95 Robert Parker's Wine Advocate -
The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Hourglass Estate is deep purple-black in color and offers up notes of baked blackcurrants, plum preserves, blackberry jam and violets with touches of licorice, black soil and cracked pepper. Full-bodied, rich and decadent in the mouth, it has a firm frame of grainy tannins and just enough freshness, finishing with great length.
