Peter Michael Winery Chardonnay Cuvee Indigene 2016 - First Bottle

Reviews

99 Jeb Dunnuck -
Another gorgeous effort, the 2016 Chardonnay Cuv?e Indig?ne offers awesome stone fruits, spice, crushed rocks, and white flower aromas and flavors. Possessing full-bodied richness, a seamless, elegant, silky texture, no hard edges, vibrant acidity, and a huge finish, it's a tour de force in Chardonnay that I wish every reader could taste. It`s as good as anything out there today.
96-98 Robert Parker's Wine Advocate -
The 2016 Chardonnay Cuvee Indigene offers up exuberant green mango, white peach and lemon zest notes with touches of cashews, lightly browned toast and white blossoms. The medium-bodied palate fills the mouth with mouthwatering perfumed citrus flavors, which are complemented by the silken texture, finishing on a chalky note. To be bottled in February 2018; 530 cases are expected.

Too late, we are SOLD OUT!
Greatest Chardonnay producer in California? The critics certainly think so --- just take a look at the scores for these wines, year after year, like clockwork. Rich, intense, opulent and hedonistic any way you slice it!

About the Producer

In 1982, after a six year search, Sir Peter Michael and Lady Michael purchased 630 acres of volcanic ridges on the western face of Mount St. Helena in Knights Valley. Drawing inspiration from the great wineries of Burgundy and Bordeaux, the family hired like-minded viticulturists and winemakers to help them create terroir-driven wines that would stand the test of time.
