Miniere Brut Rose Influence NV - First Bottle

Reviews

93 James Suckling -
With cherries, potpourri and flowers, this has an expressive and brambly style to it. It possesses a very refined and creamy sorbet-like texture, berry fruits, baking spices and a smooth, nutty finish. Great balance. Drink now.

About the Producer

Founded in 1919 by great-grandfather Alfred, who created his own wine press and sold his wines to the merchants of Reims, the fourth generation is now running the estate. The property is just under 20 acres in Hermonville, whose magnificent, south-east facing hillsides are flooded with sunshine. Barrel fermentation is utilized on all wines (think Krug or Egly-Ouriet) and malo is always blocked so the wines maintain their freshness (think Lanson, Gosset or Krug). This is grower Champagne in a sun-filled, rich and vinous style - we can't get enough.
