Marc Hebrart Blanc de Blancs Brut 1er Cru NV - First Bottle

Reviews

92 Robert Parker's Wine Advocate -
Disgorged in April 2018, the latest iteration of Hébrart's NV Brut Blanc de Blancs Premier Cru is lovely, bursting with aromas of Meyer lemon, green apple, brioche and subtle hints of blanched almond. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, fleshy and seductive, with ripe acids, a youthfully frothy but incipiently fine mousse and a sapid, vinous finish that belies this bottling's easy charm. Not only is this a terrific wine, it's a terrific value.
92 Vinous -
One of the standouts in this range, the NV Brut Blanc de Blancs 1er Cru is a Champagne of real depth and staying power. Smoke, slate, crushed rocks, orchard fruit, lime and pear notes are all beautifully delineated in this vibrant, energetic Blanc de Blancs. Time in the glass brings out the wine's texture and broad, ample frame, along with a set of more gently oxidative aromas and flavors that suggest the Blanc de Blancs won't be a long-term ager. Even so, the Blanc de Blancs is quite pretty and expressive today. Dosage is 7 grams per liter.
92 Wine Spectator -
A creamy, harmonious version, with a lovely skein of fragrant spice unwinding through flavors of apple, chopped hazelnut and poached peach. Hints of honey and lemon curd linger on the rich, mouthwatering finish. Disgorged October 2014. Drink now through 2020. 60 cases imported.

Too late, we are SOLD OUT!
Can you feel the energy in this? We can, because we have a glass in hand as you are reading this. Blanc des Blancs is generally our go-to for Champagne, that 100% Chardonnay satisfies every time. This triple 92-pointer is packed with flavor, a little more oooomph and weight than the Cuvee de Reserve, and pitch-perfect balance. Awesome stuff. A must have...
