Together with her husband, Hannes, Simone has led the traditional family winery Jordan (started in 1858 in Groß-Reipersdorf, near Pulkau) since 2010. (For trademark reasons, the wines are sold here in the USA as “Hiller.”) Before turning to winemaking, Simone was crowned regional wine queen of Lower Austria and then wine queen of all of Austria.
